As an Associate at Ferruzzo in the Business Litigation and Employment Litigation Practice Group, Caroline handles a broad range of business litigation matters from its onset to trial preparation, including conducting legal research, pleadings, discovery, pre- and post-trial motions, arguing in court, and negotiating settlements.
During law school, Caroline served as the Executive Submissions and Online Editor for the Chapman Law Review, was a member of Chapman Law’s Moot Court Board, and placed as a regional finalist in the 2021 Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition where she addressed constitutional issues related to Equal Protection and partisan gerrymandering.
Caroline further gained unique experiences in a variety of litigation matters, including in the areas of international law, employment law, and sports law. While in law school, Caroline served as the judicial extern to the Honorable Justice Aimé Muyoboke Karimunda of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Rwanda, where she was able to assist the judiciary in policy recommendations for the country’s criminal justice system. She also served as a research assistant to Chapman’s Executive Vice President and Parker S. Kennedy Professor of Law, Matthew Parlow, on his legal scholarship, “Racial Protest and Racial Progress in Professional Sports,” now published in the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice, Vol. 31:2.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Caroline pursued a career in the sports industry working primarily for the Los Angeles Rams prior to her decision to pursue a lifelong goal of becoming an attorney. Caroline’s journey into the sports world began as a server at the Honda Center, eventually making her way into the front office for the Anaheim Ducks where she became a top seller for the team, grossing over 150% of her annual revenue target within a single season. As a result, Caroline became one of the first hires for the front office of the Los Angeles Rams upon its relocation to Los Angeles in 2016. Her business development experiences in the sports industry have played pivotal roles in shaping Caroline into the advocate that she is today for her clients.
In Caroline’s free time, she enjoys attending sporting events, traveling, going to museums, and spending time with her friends.
