Gordon Scholte

As a Partner in the Corporate Practice Group at Ferruzzo, Gordon Scholte has over 35 years of experience as a transactional business attorney, with an emphasis on commercial real estate and finance. In the real estate sector, Gordon helps owners and users in acquisition/disposition, financing, development (including CC&Rs, easements, and license agreements), and leasing of property throughout California. His experience ranges from single-tenant structures to regional shopping centers and includes office, industrial, and manufacturing properties, distribution facilities, and auto malls. Separately, Gordon assists property and business owners in navigating the complexities and process of secured transactions structured as collateralized loans or other credit facilities. These transactions often involve title, survey and zoning matters, and opinion letters.

Gordon has deep experience in the real estate sector. Before joining Ferruzzo in 2000, he served as in-house counsel to CBRE Group (formerly CB Richard Ellis) as Senior Counsel for CB Richard Ellis and General Counsel for CB Partners, Inc.

Gordon was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Gordon enjoys hiking coastal and mountain trails, cooking for friends and family, and music in his free time. He is actively involved at North Coast Church in Vista, California.
